The AI Kick Check and Ninja Starter Test (“Kick Check”) are tools the martial arts school that shared this link (“the school”) offers to families. Kick Check is run for the school by CertifML LLC (“we”). This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used and the choices you have. Kick Check is meant to be used by a parent or guardian, together with their child.
The short version
- The AI that watches the moves runs on your own phone. Video is only uploaded if you choose to send it to the school.
- Videos you send can only be opened by the school's staff and are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- We never sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- You can ask for everything about your family to be deleted at any time.
What we collect
- About your child (entered by you): first name, optional age, current belt, and the kick or move results: scores such as kick height, balance and focus, measured from body position.
- About you (only if you send results or ask for a review): your name, mobile number, optional email, an optional note, and your consent to receive text messages.
- Video (only if you tap “Send the video”): a short, compressed recording of the moves.
- On your device: your browser remembers your family's private progress link and the details you typed, so you don't have to enter them again. You can clear this with “Log out on this phone”.
We do not use cameras or body measurements to recognize or identify anyone, we don't use face recognition, and we don't collect your location, contacts or advertising IDs. Body-position points are used only to score the moves.
Children's privacy
Kick Check is designed for parents and guardians. Information about a child is provided by the parent, who decides whether to send results or video to the school. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children without a parent's involvement. A parent can review or delete their child's information at any time (see “Your choices”).
How the information is used
- To show you the results and the practice plan, and to keep your family's progress history (month 1, 3, 6 and later).
- To send your results, video and requests (free review, trial class, 1-on-1) to the martial arts school that shared this link.
- To send you the text messages and emails you agreed to (see Text messages).
- To keep the service working, secure and accurate (for example, fixing errors or improving how moves are scored).
Kick Check measures body position for practice and encouragement. It is not a medical, developmental or psychological assessment and doesn't diagnose anything.
Who we share it with
- the martial arts school that shared this link, so they can review your child's moves, contact you and track progress.
- Service providers that run Kick Check for us, only to provide the service: web hosting (Hostinger), a spam check that confirms a real person is sending the form (Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not track you for ads), and the school's messaging and contact system (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), plus the phone carriers that deliver texts.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or others.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not include the service providers above that deliver the messages.
How long it's kept
- Videos: deleted automatically 90 days after they're sent.
- Results and contact details: kept while your family uses Kick Check with the school, so progress can be compared over time, and deleted when you ask or when the school stops using Kick Check.
Security
Everything is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Progress pages and video links are private links that can't be guessed, and videos are stored outside the public website. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your family's progress link private.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or HELP for help.
- See, correct or delete your information: ask the martial arts school that shared this link, or email info@certifml.com. We'll delete your family's results, contact details and videos.
- This device: tap “Log out on this phone” on the progress page.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shown in Kick Check before they apply.
